"Two handed sword" in Royal Armouries

This is, I assume, a garden or common longsword-- but the weight seems pretty considerable to me. Am I wrong ? Could this be a sword of office ? The RA at Leeds doesn't seem to find anything strange.

I'd bet money that the weight is wrong. Incorrect weights are more common than many think in museum catalogs. The dimensions suggest that its weight should be under 2 kg.

If it was made for display (note it looks pristine for its age), the weight and balance may not be ideal for actual wielding.
