I know that doctorates in Finland come with a special hat and a special sword

The sword is a court sword or a smallsword. I have held one. I see that the Swedes do the same

I wonder where the Finns and Swedes get actual court swords made nowawadays-- a tradition of working smallswords ? I know that the Polytechniciens in France (graduates of a prestigious higher education establishment) also have a sword:
