I am a novice to the world of western martial arts but have had an interest in some time.
I first started a research drive around 2006, but my first search for groups unfortunately did not find SC (or I would be nearly a decade into practice!) instead finding ARMA. Not finding any London study groups, which is understandable for a group with a strong US focus, I dabbled in Kendo for 2 years and spent a few months at the SCA, which impressed me with their research in mediaeval lifestyles but not so much on their combat systems.
After taking a hiatus from attempting to interpret Talhoffer and Liechtenauer myself, I have decided to search again for groups and have just come across SC. Late is better than never I suppose
I understand there is a closed FB page, and would appreciate an invite.
