apparently the guy was a dancing master with military knowledge and he invented a dance called the "scaramuccio" which translates as "the skirmish" with lines moving in and out of each other, can't find much more on it though, any of you guys know something more about it? I find it interesting because if it was simulating a mounted skirmish for his royal patrons then it tell us something about what the skirmishes looked like.
