Spanish Master sword-smiths

Postby Gordon H » 19 Mar 2013 21:37

I'm currently transcribing a 17th century document, I thought it would interest people to know that it lists eight Spanish master sword-smiths by name, I wonder if anyone has any further information on them, they only one I have found a modern reference to is no 3) Alonso de Sahagun

1.) Sahagun Sahagun
2.) Sahagun el Bieco
3.) Alonso de Sahagun
4.) Pedro de Toro
5.) Juan Martines
6.) Tomas De Ayala
7.) Francisco Ruiz
8.) Juan de la Orta
