Quarterstaff Seminar Footage

Postby Cutlery Penguin » 02 Aug 2014 18:39

I was over in St Louis recently doing a weekend of English Martial Arts. We did a short half day on quarterstaff and recorded the majority of it. I am currently offering to burn the raw footage of the seminar onto a disc and mail it out to anyone who wants it.

http://www.pugilism.org/index.php/free-seminar-footage/

It is completely unedited, and in the format it came from the camera in. But there are 31 video files, and almost an hour of footage.

I'm gonna take the page down on Sunday night because then I'm going to start the editing process. Don't miss out, I won't be doing this again.

Alright, I'll check it out - order placed.

But now I am a great king, the people hound my track
With poison in my wine-cup, and daggers at my back.

I hope it is of use to you!

It's about 2.15pm here and I'm planning on removing the page with the "get it now" link at about half past five.

It's just short of an hour of raw footage from a seminar I did in St Louis recently, in case you were wondering whether it is worth the p&p fee here is a sample of what Ken, the guy who arranged it all said after the event.

"I've trained with very many high level martial artists from all over the world, and hosted quite a few of them for seminars, and I have to say that Martin Oz Austwick is right up there with the best of them. He knows his stuff-- he's knowledgeable about both the method and the history, teaches and explains very well, and he can do what he says he can do. All of what he does is practical and sound, and works for the right reasons."

Here's the link just in case anyone has missed it so far.

Bugger missed it, as I just got back from a weekend at the medieval centre in Nykøbing :(

Oh damn, I need to read this forum more often. It's probably too late now, is it?

So it's been five weeks, and nobody's chimed in here nor has Oz responded to a PM I've sent him last month on the 17th. Doesn't look like he's been on in a while, either. Unfortunately I let this go past the 45 day window for PayPal disputes and I have no idea how else to contact him (Pugilism.org didn't seem to have a link or address). Bummer.

Don't worry, Oz isn't the sort to not sort it, he's no doubt just being disorganized. You can contact him though his club - google english martial arts academy. or he's easy enough to find on facebook.
