I did, too, until I broke my pinky wearing it. Wasn't even a hard hit. There's no protection at all on the pinky.

If you want to change your basket-hilt into something more like a sabre, or just have a bit more hand mobility (at the cost of hilt protection) the plastic used for these guards cuts really cleanly with a craft knife:

Nice hand protection. Just a look alike with the ones the fencer in Europe used. And it also resembles with the rapiers though.

Sorry about not posting updates for a while - we have never been so busy.

1) Messers should be in full production within the next couple of months.

2) Sabres still need the design to be finalised. Test groups will receive guards shortly.
