If it matters, I hope you don't mind some corrections. My brother lives in a French-speaking town and practices various martial arts (in fact instructs in some) so I've heard a lot of these expressions. I hope these help with the text. It's a good, serviceable translation so the small corrections below will help make this text known and used.

on the first page, "soit seulement esquissé" comes from the expression "esquisser un geste", which means "to execute a gesture very lightly" (cf "esquisser un sourire")

"will only be executed in outline"

P. 6, "chassez vigoureusement la jambe de l'adversaire" should mean "lift up, drive back, kick out" rather than "stamp on"

"tirant d'un coup sec" means "with a sudden jolt, suddenly" rather than "while making a dry blow"

p. 13, à bras le corps means not "gripping the body with an arm" but "with a bearhug"

p. 20, "pointez" doesn't mean "point it at him" but "give him the thrust"
