Anyone know where I can get an English translation, preferably with pictures.

I don't mind whether on line or hard copy but I can't seem to find either!

Try talking to Christian Henry Tobler, he might have a digitial copy he's willing to share.

How do I get in touch with esteemed Mr Tobler?

If you are already on speaking terms could you possibly ask him on my behalf?

The von danzig longsword translation at Shielhau is taken from the Goliath fectbuch.

I am working on reformatting the whole thing to a more readable pdf. I can send you a copy later today if you are interested. PM me with your email.

Sorry, no english translation, but here: http://de.wikisource.org/wiki/Cod._44_A_8 is a transcription, at least containing the three pictures (fencing master, the prime guards Pflug, Ochs, vom Tag, Alber) the manuscripts provides. There are no other pictures in the vD ms.
Here: http://www.hammaborg.de/de/archiv/peter_von_danzig/start.php is an ongoing project for transcription and translation into modern high-german by Dierk Hagedorn from the fine northern-german group Hammaborg. The modern german translation should be helpful to work with for any non-german-speaker..

Again, sorry, I don't know about any english translation online or hardcopy so far, but feel free to ask if you have any unsolveable problems, there are some geman speaking guys 'n' gals in the forum....not me, I'm more the type of ignorant liberal i.e.ultraleftwingactivist european snob.....sorry again, thought you're an ARMA member.....my fault.....had a bad week.

Happy weekend everybody!

Afraid I don't talk to anyone esle but you guys, I'm very picky you know!

If you wouldn't mind pming him that would be great.

I'll have a look at the other links people suggested and see what I can get. I have a friend who should be able to translate most of it for me, he didn't have too many problems with Talhoffer so I'll see what can be done.

Unfortunately he can't send it, because he's hoping to have it published soon.

A fair amount of people have requested the PDF version of Mike Rassmusens translation of von Danzig that I have been working on. The file size is 100Mb for the word Doc and 11Mb for the PDF. It will not fit in an email.

I will look at seeding it on a torrent site or somthing.
Updates later.
