Thanks for the videos, Keith, they are very educational for beginners and are joy for the eye.
Just to ask, isn't there a problem with leaving the bind this way, as it is shown in the first video for example at 1:58 and 2:10. And than later changig the direction of the strike in the middle of the opponent's zornhau at 2:33. I don't know much about Meyer, maybe tehre's a reason for this.

There would certainly be some risk involved in leaving the bind this way! So the action would have to be based upon "fuhlen" or "empfinden." If your opponent is applying some forward pressure in the bind, then leaving the bind to circle under and to the other side would not be a good idea! You could very well run right into a thrust. If he is applying forward pressue, then Example 4 would be a better choice if you want to use the Rose. But if you sense that he has lessened his pressure and is about to draw his sword back to launch a technique of his own, then this can work very well. You also have to be sure to take a good step so that you are off-line from his point. Hope that makes sense!

I'll comment the Rose first. What Keith Myers says does make perfect sense to me, especially for the first two. It seems, especially in the first two examples, that as a prerequisite for this technique to work, the opponent needs to apply pressure towards the side, preferably in a very dedicated way. Otherwise, there seems to be a moment when you don't have good contact with his blade and according the distance, you might eat cut or thrust in a very unpleasant way.
